We use Ontario made solar panels, reliable micro inverter technology, and superior monitoring equipment. We have designed these systems to not only perform during the 20 year period of the contract, but long after as well.

CUSTOM MOUNTING

The mounting is a crucial aspect of the installation. The type of racking used varies, depending on the scope of the project. There are three types of racking Pure Luminescence Inc. uses.

Pitch Roof Flush Mount:
This racking is single panel racking made out of durable aluminum for a residential application. The panel is flush mounted to the roof providing pitch for optimal solar harness. It is fastened every 24 inches with self sealing anchors, and siliconed to ensure absolutely no leakage. The panels sit a few inches above the roof surface to allow airflow throughout the system. All of the wiring runs under the panels tied to the racks to be as protected and aesthetically pleasing as possible. The warranty on the racking is 10 years and the system is virtually maintenance free.

Flat Roof Ballasted Mount:
This racking is single panel racking made out of aluminum. The panels are mounted in these racks at a 15° – 20° tilt to provide pitch for optimal solar harness. The racking is equipped with ventilation points to allow airflow throughout the system. These ballasted systems require no fastening to the roof of the building, the racking only needs to be weighted down by equal force. The wiring all runs in the enclosed ballasted mounts under the panels tied to the racks to be as protected and aesthetically pleasing as possible. The warranty on the racking is 10 years and the system is virtually maintenance free.

 

Ground Mount Tracker:
This racking system is designed to be placed on the ground and support an Array using a dual-axis tracking system. This means the ground mount will move upwards and downwards, as well as to the left and to the right, to track the solar activity. These systems provide substantially more yield then any of our roof mount systems. These systems are solid and are built to last. They are mounted above ground with an engineered concrete base dug deep into the ground to provide sustainable support for these systems. The wires will run down into the ground and then to wherever they need to go to be as protected and aesthetically pleasing as possibly. The warranty on these ground trackers is 5 years.
